Robofox

Robofox is a web browser extension that enables the automation of repetitive browsing tasks such as extracting information from a web site, integrating data from different web sites, and customizing the appearance of the collected information.



Robofox interface consists of a toolbar within the Firefox browser. This toolbar can activate Robofox recording mode so that each step of a task is stored and later translated into a script. Once a task has been recorded, Robofox can replay the generated script to reproduce the task. While recording, Robofox provides additional functionality to:

• Clip any web context without leaving your browser
• Save data in multiple clipboards or in an XML file
• Hide, remove, clone and append web page elements
• Get notifications when a web site changes
• Schedule and set triggers for your scripts
• Make the scripts more dependable with the support of automated assertions
